About me · Wedding photographer
The son of an old-school photographer, I've spent more than a decade and over 150 weddings telling stories without posing: close to you, almost unnoticed, paying attention to what is really happening.
Who I am
I'm a CANON EOS 5D and a disposable camera. I'm a backpacker and the photographer of the best party on the 17th floor of a hotel in Barcelona. I'm pizza. A good old-fashioned pot of lentil stew. The eternal teenager in love. The Friday-night madman and the sensible early riser chasing the colours of sunrise. I'm city, nature, mountains and beach. The power of an off-roader or the charm of an old zeppelin. I'm the son of an old-school photographer. I'm every one of my photos. The knowing look of the bride alone in her room, the company of the waiting groom. I'm the breeze that gives a mother goosebumps when she sees her child's face, and a father's reflection in a little one's eyes. I'm a million things… but above all: I'm a photographer.
01 — How I work
My way of working is documentary: I won't ask you to pose or repeat anything. Weddings are a long-distance race, and at every mile things happen that last a split second and stay with you for a lifetime. I move close by, without interrupting, from getting ready until the dance floor has warmed up. If you feel shy in front of the camera, don't worry: almost every couple who writes to me feels the same. All you have to do is enjoy yourselves; making sure you look good in the photos is my job.
02 — Where I work
I live and work in Barcelona, so I cover weddings all over Catalonia with no travel fee: masias in the Empordà and the Penedès, estates in the Maresme or on the Costa Brava. Vitoria-Gasteiz is still home, and I don't charge travel in the Basque Country or Madrid either. If you're getting married somewhere else, don't worry: I love travelling and a modest bed is all I need.

03 — Step by step
First of all, we talk. In person or on a video call, with no commitment: you tell me how you imagine the day and I explain how I work. I'll be the person who spends the most time by your side, so it matters that you feel comfortable.
Many couples use it to lose their fear of the camera before the wedding. I also do post-wedding shoots, and some couples have come back later for their pregnancy and baby.
From getting ready to the dancing, with no script and no forced poses. There are two of us, so in the morning each photographer is with one of you, and during the ceremony not a single glance gets away. Details, tears and laughter: not one moment left out of your box of memories.
You receive at least 800 edited photos, in high resolution and without watermarks, in a private online gallery ready for you to enjoy at your own pace and share with family and friends.
04 — Frequently asked questions
More than 150, over more than a decade. Most of them in the Basque Country, where I started, and more and more in Barcelona and all over Catalonia. Each one has taught me something about how to stay close without getting in the way.
All my packages include two photographers. That way we cover both of your preparations at the same time and have two points of view during the ceremony, the speeches and the dancing.
Not in Catalonia, the Basque Country or Madrid. For weddings elsewhere, tell me where you're getting married and I'll prepare a quote.
My wedding packages cost €1,950, €2,450 or €2,800, VAT included, with two photographers and at least 800 edited photos. You'll find the details of each one on the prices page.
“Aitor has a gift for capturing the moment. Every one of his photos is a work of art; we never get tired of looking at them.”
